We also provide you ongoing advisement and guidance via email and phone concerning every aspect of your Stricklands Ice Cream franchise.
What does a Strickland’s Frozen Custard franchise cost to open?
The costs of a Stricklands franchise depend on many variables. The range of investment varies from $188,000 to $315,000 and includes all of the costs and expenses you will incur to open a Stricklands franchise (including six months of lease payments and working capital that may be required during your first three months of operation). What is the royalty fee?
The monthly royalty fee is an on-going payment that you make to us for your Stricklands Frozen Custard franchise. Our royalty fee is 6% of total gross sales (not including sales tax). All of our Franchisees pay the same fee. It is important to note that Stricklands does not markup the cost of any inventory, products or suppliers that are purchased by our Franchisees. They receive the net negotiated price that Stricklands Markting Corp. negotiated on behalf of the franchise network.

Yes, we definitely encourage you to schedule a visit with us in Akron, Ohio. This will enable you to meet our team, view our operation, tour a few or our franchise stores, and of course, sample our incredible ice cream! When you visit, we recommend you spend a full day with us. If the Cleveland Indians are in town, we would also enjoy providing you a tour of our kiosks and inline store at Progressive Field. Since we are located within 20 minutes of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 30 minutes from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, you may want to schedule an extra day to visit these landmarks.
